Mountfield HK, the only remaining Czech team in the Champions Hockey League, beat Färjestad Karlstad in OT on Tuesday night to book their spot in the CHL Quarter-Finals.
Mountfield entered the game one goal down on aggregate, but wasted no time in tying the series and taking an early lead with two first-period goals.
The Czechs even went two goals up on aggregate when Radek Pilař scored in the second period, but two goals from Färjestad in regulation tied the series 6-6.

In extra time, Lukáš Cingel scored in dramatic fashion sending the home crowd to their feet as Mountfield overcame Färjestad to move on.

Were Mountfield nervous in overtime with their whole season on the line?
"No!" he said shaking of any pressure, "we knew we could do it. And at home in front of all of our fans we knew we had nothing to lose - we just went out and played."
"We could face anyone right now," he said with adrenaline still rushing through his system, "we're feeling really good."
Mountfield will play Swiss side EV Zug in the Quarter-Finals.
