The Round of 16 return legs take place tomorrow, meaning that the aggregate scores come into play to determine which teams advance to the Quarter-Finals.
In four of the matchups, the teams still level from the first games two weeks ago - but in the other four, one side is already in the lead.
What happens if it's a tie on aggregate?
Overtime will only be played if the two teams are tied on aggregate after 60 minutes of hockey in the return game (i.e. after 120 minutes in both games combined). If needed, sudden death Overtime is played 4-on-4 for ten minutes. If no goal is scored in those ten minutes, a 'best of five'-shot shootout follows.
If the game is tied after 60 minutes, but one team is ahead on aggregate, then the game is over and the team leading on aggregate advances to the Quarter-Finals.
The result at 60 minutes however is important in terms of the overall CHL Team Ranking, which determines who hosts the final!
