The 2022/23 season of the Champions Hockey League is gradually coming to its culmination. With just four teams remaining in the race for the European Trophy and only one round left before the big Final on 18 February, the majority of the season is behind us.

Looking back at the Group Stage, Round of 16, Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals First Games, there have been some outstanding performances across the board and some players have truly been irreplaceable. 

We want to give some extra attention to the players who have been pushing the limits a little further, which is why it is time to present the LGT MVP Award for the most valuable player of the season.

The short-list with the five nominated players has been selected by an expert jury from across Europe and will be gradually released from today to Saturday. Return to the CHL website or tune in to the CHL's social media channels to see who made the pick!

From Sunday, you will be able to vote for your favourite player on the CHL website.

Voting will start on Sunday 15 January at 17:00 CET and will be open until 22 January (23:55 pm CET).
