Wow! Two Game Days of the 2019/20 Champions Hockey League season are in the books already, and what a four days they were overall as each team played their opening two games.
Here are our top five stories in the competition so far:
1. "Top of the table, you're having a laugh"
That was the chant ringing around the Viola Arena on Sunday night as Cardiff's overtime win over Graz ensured they Top Group H after two games. The Devils' impressive start with five out of six points is followed very closely by Elite League compatriots Belfast - the Giants beat Liberec in their first ever CHL game, before going down to Augsburg in overtime.
2. Fortress Minsk
Yunost Minsk kept up their amazing home form in the Champions Hockey League with another two wins - this time over Lausanne HC and then shutting out Oceláři Třinec. With a perfect record so far, it means that Belarus are the joint-top performing league after two Game Days.
3. Champions struggling
Who would have predicted the start that Frölunda have had? The Indians currently sit with just a point from two home games after losing to Graz on penalty shots, and then in regulation to Mountfield HK. Remember, last season both previous finalists (Växjö and JYP Jyväskylä) went out in the Group Stage.
4. Jesse returns... and scores!
Jesse Puljujärvi's return to Kärpät Oulu saw him get his side of to the perfect start - scoring in their opening game against Grenoble.
5. Czechs in trouble
It wasn't a good start to the new season for Czech teams. Playoff Champions Oceláři Třinec have yet to score a goal in two losses, while Bílí Tygři Liberec are also without a point. Mountfield HK overcame a loss in Cardiff by beating the defending champions, but it's HC Pilsen who lead the way for the country with five points from a possible six.
