After a thrilling two days of Champions Hockey League Playoff action last week, we will return tomorrow and on Wednesday for the all-important Return Games that will decide which eight teams will compete in the 2022/23 Quarter-Finals!
An important thing to remember when cheering on your favourite team is aggregate score - here's a refresher on how it works:
Aggregate Score
The Round of 16, Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals are played in a home-and-away, two-game series format and are decided on combined aggregate score of the First and Return Game. Overtime and shootouts are used in the Return Game if the aggregate score is tied after regulation.
Overtime is played 10 minute sudden-death, 3-on-3. The team that score the first goal are declared the winner of the series. Should no goals be scored, a shootout (five shooters each team) will determine who advances to the next round.
