In his debut Champions Hockey League season, Frederik Tiffels has proven himself to be one of the best players of the competition.
At 26-years-old, Tiffels has become one of the go-to players for Red Bull Munich, leading the entire CHL in goals with eight on the year, and his 14 points overall trail only Ryan Lasch of Frölunda Gothenburg.
Munich have made the final four, with eyes on making the Final once again, and Tiffels has played a huge part in that.
In the Quarter-Finals matchup against Finnish side Lukko Rauma, Tiffels scored in both games, beginning the comeback in the First Game with the first of two goals for Munich in a 2-2 tie, and he scored again in the Return Game which once again tied the score, before Munich sealed the two leg affair in overtime to advance to the Semi-Finals.
His shot has been the most impressive part of his game, scoring on over a quarter of the attempts he makes, while Munich have a roster full of talent, Tiffels in his first year with the club after moving over from Kölner Haie is the one getting all of the headlines, and has consistently churned in performance after performance to stake his claim to be named CHL LGT MVP for the 2021/22 Season.
