What a night of Champions Hockey League action. Coming into the Quarter-Finals Return Games, two matchups were on level score, whilst Sparta Prague and Leksands IF were three goals down. First to qualify for the Semi-Finals were Rögle Ängelholm. Despite losing the Return Game to Sparta 1-3, their three-goal buffer from the First Game was just enough to push them through. Sparta were only one goal away from taking this matchup to overtime and gave it their all, playing high up the ice right down to the final seconds, scoring two late goals to keep their hopes alive, but it wasn't meant to be.
Frölunda Gothenburg were the second team to book their place in the Semi-Finals after a 3-3 draw against Leksand, followed by Tappara Tampere who edged past the Rouen Dragons to move on to the next round.
Red Bull Munich completed the Final Four for 2021/22, edging past Lukko Rauma in a game that went right down to overtime!
