Welcome to the wild and crazy Group F, where nothing about the first four gamedays went according to pre-tournament predictions. All four teams are still very much alive with two gamedays remaining, but two are in better shape than others. If the Nottingham Panthers – the biggest surprise of this year's competition so far – and SC Bern both win in regulation time this week, they will both advance. However, both TPS Turku and Mountfield HK can keep their chances alive by picking up some points, and winning would give each of them very decent chances heading into Gameday 6.
What's at stake:
Nottingham
- will clinch with a regulation victory on Tuesday, or with an overtime/shootout victory combined with a Bern regulation loss on Wednesday in Hradec Králové.
- will clinch 1st place in the group with a regulation victory combined with a Bern loss of any kind.
- cannot be eliminated on Gameday 5.
- would lose a head-to-head tiebreaker with Bern because Bern out-scored them 7-6 in their head-to-head meetings, but would win a head-to-head tiebreaker with Mountfield because they won both meetings.
Bern

- need at least 1 point in Nottingham on Tuesday to guarantee themselves a chance on Gameday 6 –would be eliminated with a regulation loss combined with a Bern regulation win in Hradec Králové on Wednesday.
- would lose a tiebreaker with Bern because they were out-scored 5-3 in their head-to-head meetings and would also lose a tiebreaker to Mountfield because they were out-scored 6-4 in their head-to-head meetings.
