You've read it right - it's Playoff time! And what better way to get the Champions Hockey League knockout rounds rolling than with six big games, as we see past CHL Champions, Finalists and champions from leagues across Europe looking to start the second leg of their quest for the European Trophy in dominant style.
A big rematch from the Regular Season will see Regular Season Winners Färjestad Karlstad skate out against former CHL Champions Tappara Tampere in Finland at 17:30 CET as the two look to settle for the score between them.
At the very same time, the Lahti Pelicans will lock horns with Red Bull Salzburg. Both these teams ended the first phase of 2024/25 with four wins and 11 points so this is as close as it gets!
Sweden's Växjö Lakers will host Swiss side Fribourg-Gottéron at 19:30 CET as these two play their very first CHL game against each other!
19:30 CET will see two teams seeking revenge across two games in Germany, as the Straubing Tigers look to use their strong home crowd to gain an advantage against ZSC Lions Zurich and Pinguins Bremerhaven look to do the same against visiting Skellefteå AIK.
Rounding out the six-game Playoff opener will be a heated all-Swiss derby at 19:45 CET in which Lausanne HC take on reigning CHL Champions Genève-Servette ahead of next week's Return Game!
