The Champions Hockey League prediction game is back for a second season! After a successful launch in 2023, fans can again pick the winners and guess the results of each game to put their predictions to the test!
Last season, Ilves Tampere supporter Kodas96 came on top and won the main prize, a VIP trip for two to the 2024 CHL Final between Genève-Servette and Skellefteå AIK in Geneva, Switzerland. Who will succeed him and be this season’s best score predictor in Europe?
Special features include the possibility for fans to be able to check their performance in various statistics and head-to-head comparisons as well as to create their own groups and go head-to-head against fans of their favourite team, friends, co-workers, teammates or family members.
In addition to the individual fan ranking, there are separate rankings for clubs, groups and countries. Throughout the season, many great prizes will be up for grabs again – the top one being a VIP trip for two to the 2025 CHL Final. There will be separate competitions and additional prizes in the various phases as well: Round of 16, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final.
The CHL Predictor (www.chl-predictor.com) is the most comprehensive prediction game in European club ice hockey. The 2023-created web application succeeded the CHL Fan Challenge platform which was in place from 2018 to 2023. “The CHL Predictor was successfully implemented last year and we’re excited to re-launch the prediction game for season two,” explained CHL Marketing and Events Director Philip Schuler, “in the off-season, the CHL Predictor received a new look in line with our brand refresh and we have also optimised various functions to make the platform even more user-friendly.”
Registered users in the CHL Predictor will be able to collect points for themselves, their favourite club and its country. Special features include the possibility for fans to create their own prediction groups and challenge other groups. Another innovative feature is the head-to-head comparison, where fans can check their performance in relation to their friends or the top performers on the leaderboard.
