The CHL Board has decided to adjust the CHL League Ranking. As cancelled games in the Playoffs, several teams missing players because of the Covid-19 protocol and the isolated groups due to the Final Olympic Qualification Tournament in the Group Stage have had quite an impact on the tight situation in the League Ranking, the 2021/22 season will not be accounted for and the status at the end of the 2019/20 CHL season will be taken into consideration to allocate places for 2022/23.
