All the votes have been counted up and it’s decided – Daniel Tedesco’s strike for the Belfast Giants against Red Bull Salzburg on Game Day 5 is our Best Goal of 2023/24!

Who better to walk us through the goal than Tedesco himself - here's what he told us after the game: “I was exhausted,” he started, hinting at the fact the game had gone to overtime, “I thought I turned it over in the middle and then the player skated by it and when I got it back, I just heard everyone screaming GO!”

“I saw Quinn Preston flying up beside me and I realised it was a 2-on-1, so I slid it over to him and I just knew he was going to give it back and he did.”

“I just knew I had to go backhand and it went post and in.”
