Few individuals have managed to make such an impact on a team's game as Tappara Tampere's Christian Heljanko has this season.
The 25-year-old Finnish goaltender has produced consistent table-topping goaltending, jumping into net for all but one of his side's Champions Hockey League Playoff games so far this season.
With ten games to his name in 2022/23, the Finnish international has made waves with his 95.24% Save Percentage, one of the best in the CHL this season, having let only 1.19 goals into his net on average per game.
He's also recorded four shutouts, his last being Tappara's 2-0 Semi-Finals First Game win over Swiss side EV Zug, which is the most of any goaltender this season.
His solid and dependable performances between the posts have propelled his team to the CHL Semi-Finals for a second time in a row, following them making the Final in 2021/22.
