SC Bern, founded in 1930, are one of the most successful and popular ice hockey clubs in Switzerland. The team has a rich history and is a powerhouse in the National League, where they have been a dominant force for decades. Bern first gained prominence in Swiss hockey in the mid-20th century, establishing themselves as a top club.
The team plays its home games at the PostFinance Arena in Bern, one of the largest and most iconic ice hockey venues in Europe, which has a capacity of around 17,000 spectators. Their colours are red, black, and yellow, and the club has a passionate fan base that fills the arena for each home game.
Bern have won the National League numerous times with 16 national championships since 1959 and five of them coming since 2010.
