HC Davos were founded in 1921 and with 31 league titles are the most successful hockey club in Switzerland.

Between 1996 and 2018 the club were led by Head Coach Arno Del Curto, under whose watch came six of those championships.

HC Davos are one of the most popular clubs in Switzerland and can count on a large following throughout the country. Their home arena, the Vaillant Arena, is a unique architectural creation made of wood which stands 1560 metres above sea level and is surrounded by the Swiss Alps.

Each December, HC Davos and the Valliant Arena co-host the annual Spengler Cup, which is Europe's longest-running international club ice hockey tournament, dating back to 1923.

HC Davos will return to the CHL in 2022/23 after four seasons out of Europe's elite ice hockey competition.
