As voted for by you, the fans, and an expert jury, the winner of the 2019/20 Champions Hockey League Most-Valuable Player Award is Frölunda Indians’ forward Ryan Lasch.
Lasch was nominated in the final three alongside Olle Alsing (Djurgården Stockholm) and Jonas Hiller (EHC Biel-Bienne). An equal split of fan and jury voting picked the 33-year-old American to win this season’s award.
The CHL’s all-time leading points scorer, Lasch scored six goals this season and clocked up another 16 assists – leading his team into the final where they beat Mountfield HK 3-1.
Lasch is no stranger to the CHL’s LGT MVP Award – this is the second time he’s won it, the other being in 2016 when his Indians side lifted the trophy in Oulu.
